Thank You

  To our veterans, past & present: THANK YOU for protecting our way of life & all that is dear to us! To the military families who have a lost a father, brother, or son- Their sacrifice was not in vain. We remember.
 
 Today, in the midst of the barbecues, family celebrations, fireworks, games, corn on the cob, baked beans & memories, I pray that you take the time to remember our nation's heroes- the men & women who have given their lives serving our Country in the line of duty. 


 Remember- freedom isn't free!

Just a small blog post today. Just some thoughts I've been having recently. Last night I was reading "Doug's Blog" on the Vision Forum website. I was reading about their recent Titanic100 event & their D-Day DVD series.

It got me thinking: This morning I am reflecting on the IMPORTANCE of really KNOWING our nation's Providential history. If we forget our God, our history, our defenders, the sacrifices, problems, mistakes etc that have gotten our nation where it is today, then _______________...? [you fill in the blank]
 What will be the consequences? What has happened to other nations/empires in history who have forgotten their heritage & their identity? "Lord, may it NOT be so with us!"
