The LORD revealed to me several years ago, that we sing this beautiful song, and at the time we "believe" we mean it ...we surrender all ....Oh yes Lord I give it all to you ...and then when he begins to clean up the idols within our personal sanctuary....we start screaming and kicking ...NO NOT THAT ...our most precious idols within our sanctuary is our thoughts and feelings...these are the greatest most influencing idols or "little gods" within us. David petitioned of God, clean me of my secret faults...in other words David was longing to be cleaned "wholly" before God and he knew he had a depth of unconscious corruption that was unknown to him....I surrender all means the unconscious level also....the conscious sin is on 10% of our knowing ....the secret faults is the 90% found in our unconscious depths....Yes LORD I surrender all ..this song has taken on new meaning ...thanks for the reboot this morning!
